✨The Tulip Stairs, the first centrally unsupported stairs in London, England, inspired by a Venetian design, showcase intricate stone treads that interlock seamlessly with the wall, creating an iconic upward perspective. The restored wrought-iron rail, adorned in its original smalt blue hue, adds to the staircase's striking beauty. Though often described as depicting tulips, the floral motifs are likely lilies, paying homage to Henrietta Maria, the queen consort of England and the royal flower of France.
