Co dali Arabové světu?

75 procent televizních diváků prý souhlasilo s moderátorem Robertem Kilroy-Silkem, který napsal v novinách, že "Arabům nevděčíme za nic. Co kromě ropy, kterou objevil, těží a platí Západ, kdy Arabové vytvořili? Jsou to sebevražední atentátníci, amputují lidem končetiny a utlačují ženy."



V době, kdy toto vyšlo 4. ledna v listě Sunday Express, se Kilroy-Silk opaloval na španělských plážích. Mohl se ve Španělsku podívat do Granady v provincii Andalucia a navštívit tam snad nejkrásnější architekturu v Evropě. Je to arabská architektura, kterou naplánovali, postavili a nádherně vyzdobili ti podřadní Arabové, píše v listě Guardian Derek Brown, který v arabském světě žil několik let jako novinář:



Rysy arabské architektury se ovšem rozšířily i dál do Evropy. Gotický lomený oblouk okopírovali evropští gotičtí architekti z východu - na západ ho přinesly první křižácké výpravy. A zatímco šílení evropští náboženští násilníci vypalovali příbytky a vraždili lidi ve Svaté zemi, arabští básníci, matematici, astronomové, filozofové a vědci rozšiřovali hranice vědění lidské civilizace.



Abbasidský kalifát v Bagdádu, který existoval půl tisíciletí asi od roku 750 po Kristu, byl do té doby snad nejsofistikovanějším režimem na světě. Arabští učenci pokračovali v práci starořeckých mudrců a rozšířili lidské vědění snad ve všech oblastech lidské činnosti. Jak ví každé dítě, Arabové objevili pojem nuly, a to v době, kdy lidé v severní Evropě ještě na helmách nosili rohy. Koncept nuly asi vznikl v Indii, ale v arabském světě byl poprvé písemně zaznamenán.

Arabové především dali světu papír. Dostal se do arabského světa před koncem prvního křesťanského tisíciletí z Číny, asi o 300 - 400 let předtím, než papír dospěl do západní Evropy. Důsledkem byla vlna poezie a prózy, filozofie a vědění, učebnic a zábavné literatury. To byla éra pohádek z Tisíce a jedné novin a éra obrovských veřejných knihoven. Arabové měli astronomické observatoře, farmaceutické knihovny a lékařské školy. Většina z nich byla v rozkvětu dávno před rokem 1000.

Kilroy-Silk však možná bude argumentovat, že současná arabská kultura je pokleslá. Mýlí se. V dnešním arabském světě vychází více poezie než prózy. Vizuální umění je tam v obrovském rozkvětu. Hudba, lidová i tradiční, také intenzivně žije. Kaligrafie dál fascinuje uživatele arabských písem. Arabská kuchyně - hlavně libanonská, ale také egyptská a jiná severoafrická - je nyní opožděně objevována i na západě.

Ano, v arabském světě existuje množství nábožensky bigotních lidí i despotických vládců. Avšak kultura a její hodnota se neměří jen historickými úspěchy, ale i každodenním životem.

Žil jsem, pokračuje autor, jako zahraniční dopisovatel listu Guardian ve Svaté zemi téměř čtyři roky. Téměř každý Arab, s nímž jsem se kdy setkal, mě vítal s nesmírnou zdvořilostí a graciézností, a to i za náročných a někdy otevřeně tragických okolností. Někdy jsem si z blízkých přátel trochu dělal legraci - tím, že jsem si vymýšlel absurdní květnaté komplimenty v jejich stylu: "Ať lůno vaší nejoblíbenější velbloudice nikdy nevyschne" - budilo to u nich záchvaty smíchu. To, že se Arabové umějí smát a umějí být dobrými přáteli, je pro mě snad nejlepším zážitkem z arabského světa, píše novinář.

Araby západní svět a západní sdělovací prostředky zradily, uzavírá autor.

Velký Bratr bude moci zastavit libovolné auto na dálku

Zní to jako futuristická vize vyšperkovaného Orwella, ale technologie existuje a britská policie tlačí na příslušná místa, aby byla zavedena do široké praxe.

Úřady by mohly zastavit nebo zpomalit na dálku kterékoliv vozidlo.

Klíčem tohoto řešení je elektronikou ovládaná černá skříňka, která reaguje na sešlápnutí pedálu. Mohla by být naprogramována tak, aby vozidlo určilo přes GPS svou pozici a hlásilo ji do nějakého centra. Tam by bylo možno rozhodnout, jak rychle má vozidlo jet, a zda se vůbec může rozjet.

Použití se nabízí samo: Na místech s omezenou rychlostí pojedou auta sama pomaleji. A s ukradeným vozidlem zloději nehnou. Při zhoršených podmínkách, náledí a podobně, by bylo možno na dálku zpomalit všechna vozidla v dané oblasti.

Podobnou technologii použil jeden tým Formule 1 při ladění motorů. Pak byla tato technologie zakázána.

Ochráncům lidských práv se to přirozeně nelíbí, ale kdo na těch několik jedinců ještě dbá? A stádu ovcí je to jedno.

Je Sýrie na řadě?

Ministr lásky Donald Rumsfeld doporučuje prezidentu Bushovi osvobodit Sýrii. Důvodem je pokračující podpora Sýrie skupinám jako Hizbullah a fakt, že toleruje teroristům přechod do Iráku.

Nemělo by jít o obvyklé "osvobozování" ve velkém stylu, ačkoliv mnoho povolaných z pentagonského ministerstva lásky to doporučuje. Přesto se Rumsfeld domnívá, že by stačilo pouze vyslání speciálních oddílů a trestné letecké bombardování.

Colin Powell je v tomto okamžiku proti této akci, ale z dřívějška víme, že Colin Powell je pružný muž a pokud by se ukázalo, že většina je pro, jistě nepůjde hlavou proti zdi. Vlastně proti svým chlebodárcům.

Prezident Bush se zatím nevyjádřil. Zřejmě se musí nejprve poradit s Bohem.

US cautions of "very large" Chinese missile build-up opposite Taiwan

BEIJING (AFP) Jan 15, 2004

The top US military officer said Thursday China has built up a "very large" missile arsenal facing Taiwan and cautioned that Washington was committed to helping the island defend itself.

"The US is committed to helping Taiwan maintain its ability to resist the use of force or coercion to solve this problem," chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Richard Myers told journalists as he wrapped up a two-day visit to China during which he met the country's top military brass.

"And it is not just a one-sided issue," he said when questioned by Chinese journalists on US arms sales to the island.

"In fact, if you look at the build-up on the Chinese mainland side of the (Taiwan) Straits in terms of surface-to-surface missiles you would see a very large build-up. And China continues to build up its capability opposite Taiwan.

"Our responsibility under the Taiwan Relations Act is to assist Taiwan in its ability to defend itself. Again, so there will be a peaceful resolution to the problem and no temptation to use force."

The United States is Taiwan's main weapons supplier.

o tom, že americké úřady to s bezpečností na letištích myslí opravdu vážně, svědčí případ americké studentky lary hayhurstové. ta byla na letišti v new yorku nucena se své oblíbené akvarijní rybičky zbavit, aby ji byl umožněn vstup do letadla. vše samozřejmě z "bezpečnostních" důvodů...

pláč studentce nepomohl, ostraha byla neústupná a odvolávala se na předpisy TSA (transport security administration) amerického úřadu pro bezpečnost cestování. pokud nemá komu rybku dát, nechť ji vyleje do záchoda. na to studentka neměla srdce a nakonec akvárko s rybičkou skrz ostrahu přenesla v baťůžku na zádech, riskujíc mimo postihu za porušení předpisů i smrt rybičky vystavením rentgenovému záření. vše nakonec dobře dopadlo, rybička cestu bez úhony přežila. co k tomu dodat?

US probes online terror talk

Intelligence agencies are investigating a series of internet warnings, said to be issued by al-Qaeda, about major terrorist attacks on the United States.

The messages - posted on several Islamist websites - include claims that an entire city could be destroyed.

This week, a statement, said to be from al-Qaeda intelligence services, warned the countdown to hit America had begun.

"It will be an even stronger strike than nuclear weapons so be prepared, oh mujahideen holy soldiers," it said.

The statement concluded that unless America and its allies withdrew from Iraq, Afghanistan and all Islamic countries, the organisation had ordered the elimination of US leaders and their supporters.

Wishful thinking?

Another statement, repeated three times in recent days, was posted on an Islamist internet forum called the Mujahideen Network.

It claimed to be from the Islamic nation to the American people, and boasted that its group now had the ability to destroy an entire US city.

There are a lot of such messages on the internet - some not necessarily new - and their authors are hard to identify.

It makes it almost impossible to determine whether these really are final warnings before an attack, like those of 11 September, or just wishful thinking by al-Qaeda sympathisers.

But US and UK intelligence services are taking the messages, and their content, seriously.

CD: How seriously are we to take your fascinating and entertaining trilogy, Illuminatus!, which you wrote in collaboration with Robert J. Shea?

Wilson: I would hate to be taken seriously. Serious people are always so grim and uptight that they make me want to dance naked on the lawn playing a flute. Of course, as Mavis says in the first volume of the trilogy, nothing is true unless it makes you laugh, but you don't really understand it until it makes you cry. The basic situation of humanity is both tragic and comic, since we are all domesticated apes with marvelous 30-billion-cell brains, which we seldom use efficiently because of domination by the older mammalian parts of the back brain. I mean, we're living on the Planet of the Apes, man. Is that funny or serious? It depends on how broad your sense of humor is, I guess.

CD: Specifically, are we really to believe that competing secret societies initiate and guide the various intellectual, religious, artistic, and mind-warping trends of the world? Or was the secret-society scenario just a parody of right-wing theories, a way of dramatizing authoritarian vs. libertarian trends, or simply your own brainwashing technique?

Wilson: To quote Lichtenberg, "This book is a mirror. When a monkey looks in, no philosopher looks out." Illuminatus!, like Linda Lovelace, is all things to all men. It's the first novel deliberately written from the viewpoint of the multi-model agnosticism of modern quantum physics. The novelist sitting on a pedestal watching the world with the allegedly Objective Eye of God is as obsolete as the tinhorn preacher bawling, "Come to my church, I've got the true true religion." The only philosophy one can honestly embrace at this stage of evolution is agnosticism, or ontological pluralism. The mosaic of competing conspiracies in Illuminatus! is a parody of popular demonology on both Right and Left. It's also a serious proposal for a more Einsteinian, relativistic model than the monistic Newtonian theories most conspiracy buffs favor. One of the readers who really seems to have understood Illuminatus! is Dr. Timothy Leary, who told me last year that his experiences with the DEA, FBI, CIA, PLO, Weather Underground, Mansonoids, Aryan Brotherhood, Al Fattah, etc., were precisely like the most absurd parts of Illuminatus!. Tim says you meet the same 24 conspiracies wherever you go. Specifically, he mentioned that he identified the same 24 paleolithic gangs fighting over the turf in Folsom Prison that he had recognized at Harvard University. The ones at Harvard speak better English, of course....

I see the power game resting on three levels of force and fraud. First, earliest and still most powerful is the government racket itself, the monopoly on force (military power, police power, etc.) which allows the governing group to take tribute (taxation) from the enslaved or deluded masses. Second, derivative from this primordial conquest, is the landlord racket, the mammalian monopoly on territory which allow's the king's relations (lords-of-the-land) or their successors, today's "land-lords," to take tribute (rent) from those who live within the territory. Rent is the daughter of taxation; the second degree of the same racket. Third, the latest in historical time, is the usury racket, the monopoly on the issue of currency which allows the money lords to take tribute (interest) on the creation of money or credit, and on the continuous circulation of the money or credit every step of the way. Interest is the son of rent, the rent of money. Since most people engaged in nefarious practices are, in my opinion, very loathe to acknowledge what they are doing, and are addicted to the same hypocrisies as the rest of humanity, I think all power groups quite sincerely believe that what they are doing is proper, and that anybody who attacks them is a revolutionary nut. Outside of the Klingons on Star Trek, I have never encountered a real predator who justifies himself on Stirnerite or Machiavellian grounds. I really think Saroyan was right, naïve as it sounds, in saying that "every man is a good man in his own eyes."

Why Is Bush And His National Security Team Acting So Guilty About 9/11?

Early in 2002, national security advisor Condoleezza Rice said "no one could have predicted that they would try to use a hijacked airplane as a missile…” to bring down the World Trade Towers.

Early in 2004 she is fighting hard not to have to repeat that claim under oath.

Because it was a lie.

In the immediate aftermath of the attack on New York and Washington most Americans were ready to believe that Osama Bin Laden hit us with a sucker punch that no one could have seen coming. The evidence is now overwhelming that the punch was telegraphed in advance and that gross incompetence let that punch land and do its terrible damage.

Just before Christmas, and under-reported by the press, was this startling statement by Thomas Kean, chairman of the independent commission investigating 9/11:

"This was not something that had to happen."

Zákon padajícího h*** se naplňuje - zastavilo se to u Bushe

Mám pocit, že se to ve Washingtonu mele. Bush potvrdil (byl nucen, už nebylo kam uhnout), že mu šlo o změnu režimu v Iráku dlouho před 11. zářím. Že nastupoval do úřadu s myšlenkou zničit Saddama. Že řekl svým lidem hned na začátku: "Najděte mi důvod, abychom mohli vstoupit do Iráku." A že 11. září vytvořilo vhodnou kulisu k jeho plánům.

A potvrdil toho ještě více. Že nikdy neměl v rukou žádný důkaz o spojení Saddama s al-Káidou. Že neexistoval důkaz, že by byl Saddam jakkoliv zapleten v událostech z 11. září.

Dva další údajné důvody pro iráckou agresi ("Saddam ukrývá ZHN" a "Saddam ohrožuje bezpečnost Spojených států") rovněž nebyly nikdy doloženy.

Po tři dny se Bushova administrativa snažila zdiskreditovat nebo odpálkovat obvinění vznesena bývalým ministrem financí Paulem O'Neillem. O'Neill byl zbaven své funkce v prosinci 2002.

Snažili se ho zastrašit, pokoušejí se zavést vyšetřování, jak se dostal k tajným dokumentům. O'Neill totiž zveřejnil v pořadu CBS 60 Minutes několik dokumentů s hlavičkou Důvěrné. Zatím marně.

"Nešlo o žádné tajné dokumenty," říká O'Neill. "To, co jsem na kameru ukázal, byly jen složky s nápisem Důvěrné. Neukazoval jsem jejich obsah. A byla to jen rutinní memoranda a zprávy ministerstva."

"Od začátku bylo jasné, že Saddam je špatný a bude nutné se ho zbavit. Vše se soustředilo na to, najít pro akci zdůvodnění," odhaluje O'Neill zákulisí jednání nejvnitřnějšího kruhu Bushova oblíbenců. O Bushovi a jeho skupině se vyjádřil jako o "slepci pohybujícím se v místnosti plné hluchých". Výstižné přirovnání!

O'Neill dále tvrdí, že se nebojí. "Mám hromadu peněz. A jsem ve stádiu svého života a své kariéry, kdy nejsem na nikom závislý, a mohu si dovolit říct pravdu."

Zatím se zdá, že se mu daří navázat na umrtvenou debatu o praktikách, jakých Bush použil, když "prodával" válku svému národu.

Nyní se Bush snaží namočit do problému také bývalého prezidenta Clintona: "Převzali jsme agendu demokratů. Byl to Clinton a jeho kabinet, kdo s tím začal. On zavedl bezletovou zónu v Iráku. My jsme v tom jen pokračovali." Nicméně jeho vysvětlení jsou stále zoufalejší. Za posledních pár měsíců byl nucen přiznat hromadu svých lží a podvodů. Ne vše, ale dosti na to, aby to normálnímu politikovi v normálně fungujícím státě zlomilo krk. Bush zatím přežívá, ale domnívám se, že vratká rovnováha by mohla být porušena. Funguje to na principu kapiček vody hloubících důlek ve skále. Bude-li těch kapek dostatečné množství a budou-li padat dostatečně dlouho, časem skálu nahlodají. Stejně tak dlouhý, neutuchající proud odhalených podvodů a lží amerického prezidenta může časem nahlodat pochybnosti i v zatemněných myslích Američanu. A to by mohl být Bushův konec.

Co z toho pro nás vyplývá? Co udělá psychopat a megaloman Bushova formátu zahnaný do kouta? Obávám se, že jsme zase o krůček blíže druhému 11. září. Pro Bushe a jeho tým je to logicky jediná možná cesta, jak si zachovat moc.

Moskvě se nelíbí základny USA v Polsku a hrozí odvetou, tvrdí tisk

VARŠAVA - Přemístí-li Spojené státy některé své vojenské základny z Německa do Polska, učiní Moskva protiopatření a rozmístí v Kaliningradu jaderné rakety krátkého a středního doletu. Včera to napsal polský deník Gazeta Wyborcza s tím, že informace zazněla na setkání ruského ministra obrany Sergeje Ivanova s novináři při příležitosti pravoslavného Nového roku.

Nejmenovaný představitel ruského ministerstva obrany moskevskému zpravodaji listu upřesnil, že by se jednalo pouze o preventivní krok, který by udělal každý stát, kdyby se v jeho bezprostřední blízkosti objevily vojenské základny potenciálního nepřítele. Ujistil, že Moskva v žádném případě nemá agresivní záměry proti Polsku.
Gazeta Wyborcza uvádí, že Rusy nejvíce znepokojuje polská nabídka, aby USA zřídily velkou leteckou základnu na vojenském letišti v Powidzi na severu Polska. Ruští odborníci tvrdí, že americké stíhačky by pak mohly zasáhnout například Smolensk během osmi minut, zatímco nyní by jim to trvalo nejméně patnáct minut.
"Ruský generální štáb má stále více pocit, že Američané chtějí Rusko obklíčit. Poláci proto musejí vědět, že povolením zřízení amerických základen na svém území se stanou potenciálním cílem ruské vojenské doktríny," citovala Gazeta Wyborcza slova ruského experta.

The anti-war voice and even the voices of those seeking the truth about 9/11 are now vindicated. How you ask? The answer lies in last nights airing of CBS’s “60 Minutes”. An interview with former Treasury Secretary Paul O’Neill was the show’s lead story. The “mainstream” interview of Bush’s former “man” now confirms what people who have been reading foreign and independent media (mostly via the internet) have known for well over a year: the Bush/Cheney junta planned the immoral, illegal and unconstitutional invasion of Iraq before they even set foot in the White House and long before 9/11 happened.

Apparently, the interview serves as a prequel for an upcoming book titled “the Price of Loyalty” by Ron Suskind, a former "Wall Street Journal" reporter (also interviewed in the “60 Minutes” piece). The book provides interviews and insight from numerous “insiders” privy to the administration’s tactics and policy-making decision methods. It should be noted that O’Neill is TAKING NO MONEY for his participation in the book that not only illustrates the underlying intentions regarding Iraq and Afghanistan, but should also motivate more people to begin questioning the “official” story behind 9/11.

The book, which prompted Donald Rumsfeld to place a call to O’Neill “warning” him not to do it should also motivate Americans to examine the “Project for a New American Century” (PNAC - http://www.newamericancentury.org/ ). The neo-conservative “think-tank” behind today’s U.S. foreign policies and the ones holding the limited attention span of Bush Junior, or as O’Neill puts it, the “blind man in a room full of deaf people”.

Their statement, “Rebuilding America's Defenses: Strategies, Forces and Resources for a New Century” clearly states that the PNAC desires and demands one thing: The establishment of a global American empire to bend the will of all nations. They chafe at the idea that the United States, the last remaining superpower, does not do more by way of economic and military force to bring the rest of the world under the umbrella of a new socio-economic Pax Americana." Brief mentions have been made about this ultra-violent organization in the mainstream press but mostly in situations containing sarcasm that only served to derail any criticism as being “anti-American and/or anti-Semitic. Now, the “60 Minutes” piece offers a new dimension to the issue and “mainstream America” is waking up to the real “evil” facing America, the detrimental goals of domination and the results of empire.

For many who sought truth instead of revenge after 9/11, these revelations are nothing new.

we received awesome information from around the world, also from Intel sources. Our group consists of Israelis in Israel and Israelis who already succeeded to escape to other countries.

The total consensus of all of us, as well as almost all the email we received, is that 911 was an inside job. We would like to 'throw in' this time an anecdote which may shake some of you. A few Jewish net discussion groups and some emails that come to us claim that bin Laden has immediate Jewish
ancestry. While we knew that Bin Laden is, was and will always be a CIA operative, to accept that he is Jewish, too, was a real stretch of the imagination. According to email we received and some of the chatter on discussion boards, his mother is Jewish and therefore, according to our Jewish religion, he is by definition, Jewish. (like it or not).

Not only that, his mother's family is living in Israel and therefore we concluded that bin Laden might actually be hiding in Israel, as we are the only country in the world who could protect him from the Moslems, once they found out the real truth about him. If all this is not enough, these Jewish discussion groups mentioned Barry Chamish as the source of this information. Barry, a journalist, is a true Israeli national journalist hero. He is a great patriot of our country. He exposed the cover-up of the assassination of our Prime Minister Rabin by the NWO (Barry was interviewed on numerous times by Jeff Rense and he has his own article section on the Rense website).

Finally, One of the most remarkable emails we received is from a former US Intel agent Kenyon Gibson, now living in the UK. Gibson, an American, wrote a book: "Nest of Evil: A Study of the Bushes, the CIA, and the Suspicions regarding 911". Gibson (as with most independent Israeli Jewish thinkers), could not get his book published, finally (as sometimes happens with our Jewish thinkers), his book was actually published by an Arab publisher!
