Moscow schoolchildren will soon receive ID cards bearing a logo of the pro-Kremlin United Russia party.

Every pupil and teacher will receive a plastic card with his or her photo and important personal data. United Russia’s symbol — a walking bear against the backdrop of the Russian flag — and the address of the party headquarters in Moscow will be printed on the reverse side of the card.

The youth wing of the Rodina (Motherland) bloc, too, strongly disapproved of United Russia’s project. “All that will end with total control,” Oleg Bondarenko of Rodina’s youth organization told Ekho.

Gorbachev Calls for New World Order, Expresses Concern about Revival of Nuclear Arms Race

    ...

Mikhail Gorbachev, the former Soviet leader who ended the Cold War and helped diffuse a nuclear standoff between his country and the United States, called Tuesday for a new world order that will be based on strong adherence to international law.

Gorbachev, speaking to the 91st annual Insurance Leadership Forum at The Greenbrier, also expressed concern that the progress he and President Ronald Reagan (news - web sites) made to eliminate the threat of a nuclear confrontation between the world's two superpowers is being eroded by development of nuclear weapons in other nations.

    ...

"World order does not mean world government," he said, nor "can you build a new world order on the basis of preemptive strikes."

Also, he said, "leaders of the industrial world should not reject the protests of those who are objecting to globalization" in meeting sites of groups such as the World Bank (news - web sites) or summits of economic leaders from major countries. Any attempt at building the new world order will not succeed "if we ignore poverty in the world," Gorbachev said.

    ...

"If terrorists gain access to weapons of mass destruction, then our current problems will seem tiny by comparison," he said.

One particular foreign intelligence agency carried out the August 21 grenade attack on Bangladesh Awami League rally, stated the Judicial Probe Committee report prepared by senior judge of Bangladesh High Court Justice Joynul Abedin.

Certain local quarters assisted the foreign intelligence agency in its heinous attack.

The report, however, did not make public the name of the foreign intelligence agency or its country of origin or its Bangladeshi agents.

Although the report was not made public, media lickage stated that the commission observed that the motive behind the grisly attack, which killed 21 people and injured or maimed hundreds of civilians, was ment to destroy Bangladesh's image as a business friendly nation and stop foreign investment here by creating political anarchy.

The renewal of the nonproliferation treaty was described as important "for the welfare of the whole world and the new world order."

President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt, in The New York Times (April 1995)

    ---------

The "new world order that is in the making must focus on the creation of a world of democracy, peace and prosperity for all."

Nelson Mandela, in The Philadelphia Inquirer (October 1994)

    -------------

"The Final Act of the Uruguay Round, marking the conclusion of the most ambitious trade negotiation of our century, will give birth - in Morocco - to the World Trade Organization, the third pillar of the New World Order, along with the United Nations and the International Monetary Fund."

Part of full-page advertisement by the government of Morocco in The New York Times (April 1994)

    --------------

"I would support a Presidential candidate who pledged to take the following steps: ... At the end of the war in the Persian Gulf, press for a comprehensive Middle East settlement and for a 'new world order' based not on Pax Americana but on peace through law with a stronger U.N. and World Court."

George McGovern, in The New York Times (February 1991)

    -------------------------

"If we do not follow the dictates of our inner moral compass and stand up for human life, then his lawlessness will threaten the peace and democracy of the emerging new world order we now see, this long dreamed-of vision we've all worked toward for so long."

    President George Bush (January 1991)

    ---------------------

"Further global progress is now possible only through a quest for universal consensus in the movement towards a new world order."

Mikhail Gorbachev, in an address at the United Nations (December 1988)

    --------------------

"The existing order is breaking down at a very rapid rate, and the main uncertainty is whether mankind can exert a positive role in shaping a new world order or is doomed to await collapse in a passive posture. We believe a new order will be born no later than early in the next century and that the death throes of the old and the birth pangs of the new will be a testing time for the human species."

Richard A. Falk, in an article entitled "Toward a New World Order: Modest Methods and Drastic Visions," in the book On the Creation of a Just World Order (1975)

    ------------------

"The United Nations, he told an audience at Harvard University, 'has not been able--nor can it be able--to shape a new world order which events so compellingly demand.' ... The new world order that will answer economic, military, and political problems, he said, 'urgently requires, I believe, that the United States take the leadership among all free peoples to make the underlying concepts and aspirations of national sovereignty truly meaningful through the federal approach.'"

Gov. Nelson Rockefeller of New York, in an article entitled "Rockefeller Bids Free Lands Unite: Calls at Harvard for Drive to Build New World Order" -- The New York Times (February 1962)

    ---------------

"In the first public declaration on the Jewish question since the outbreak of the war, Arthur Greenwood, member without portfolio in the British War Cabinet, assured the Jews of the United States that when victory was achieved an effort would be made to found a new world order based on the ideals of 'justice and peace.'"

Excerpt from article entitled "New World Order Pledged to Jews," in The New York Times (October 1940)

    --------------------

"The New World Order will have to be built from the bottom up rather than from the top down...but in the end run around national sovereignty, eroding it piece by piece will accomplish much more than the old fashioned frontal assault."

CFR member Richard Gardner, writing in the April l974 issue of the CFR's journal, Foreign Affairs.

    -------------

"From the days of Sparticus, Wieskhopf, Karl Marx, Trotsky, Rosa Luxemberg, and Emma Goldman, this world conspiracy has been steadily growing. This conspiracy played a definite recognizable role in the tragedy of the French revolution. It has been the mainspring of every subversive movement during the 19th century. And now at last this band of extraordinary personalities from the underworld of the great cities of Europe and America have gripped the Russian people by the hair of their head and have become the undisputed masters of that enormous empire."

Winston Churchill, stated to the London Press, in l922.

    ------

"We shall have world government whether or not you like it, by conquest or consent."

Statement by Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) member James Warburg to The Senate Foreign Relations Committee on February 17th, l950

    --------------------

"No one will enter the New World Order unless he or she will make a pledge to worship Lucifer. No one will enter the New Age unless he will take a Luciferian Initiation."

David Spangler, Director of Planetary Initiative, United Nations

    ---------------

To achieve world government, it is necessary to remove from the minds of men their individualism, loyalty to family tradition, national patriotism and religious dogmas ...
We have swallowed all manner of poisonous certainties fed us by our parents, our Sunday and day school teachers, our politicians, our priests, our newspapers and others with vested interests in controlling us.

The reinterpretation and eventual eradication of the concept of right and wrong which has been the basis of child training, the substitution of intelligent and rational thinking for faith in the certainties of the old people, these are the belated objectives ... for charting the changes of human behavior.

nova kniha od synovce Zbigniewa Brzezinskeho...

'Fortress America' focuses on future of siege mentality

By Stephen Lyons, Special for USA TODAY

Imagine a chip implanted in your body that carries all your pertinent information as well as your current body temperature and, of course, your exact location.

Brzezinski's question: How much disruption will the American people tolerate as its government tries to find "the balance between security and liberty"?

Sounds harmless when applied in commerce to track shipments or in the livestock industry to monitor animals.

But when the idea is broached of injecting the chip into political prisoners, as is rumored in China, or into convicted sex offenders, a proposal in this country, then the name of George Orwell quickly surfaces.

    Fortress America

    By Matthew Brzezinski

    Bantam, 256 pp., $25

Matthew Brzezinski explores this high-tech surveillance technology and other new and often frightening frontiers in a post-9/11 USA in his riveting Fortress America.

A siege mentality — a maximum security state similar to Israel — is emerging in the USA, he says.

The manufacture of such sophisticated hardware as the RFID — radio frequency identification — is easy, but moving it into place and solving delicate legal issues before another terrorist attack is the tricky part.

"The technological and legal foundations for blanket surveillance had already been laid in 2003," Brzezinski writes. "All that was lacking was the political and social will to bring all this technological wizardry to bear in the war on terror. It wouldn't happen overnight or without another catastrophic incident, something that upped the ante and put America in the same survival mode on par with Israel: a nuclear detonation, a biological outbreak, a mass casualty event. But if the stakes were high enough, would we be more willing to accept life in a maximum security surveillance state?"

As for RFID, the future is here. Brzezinski writes, "Special Ops forces reportedly had tiny chips injected in their hips on sensitive missions where they could not wear dog tags."

The former foreign correspondent at The Wall Street Journal and the nephew of Zbigniew Brzezinski, former national security adviser under President Jimmy Carter, Brzezinski takes readers inside a mock drill with first responders in Denver, to a simulation of an emergency session of the National Security Council and to the inner sanctums of the Department of Homeland Security.

And as the 9/11 Commission reported, Brzezinski confirms that the USA is vulnerable to attacks on its under-protected chemical and natural gas depots.

Readers are asked to contemplate the unthinkable. One doctor tells Brzezinski, "If I were al Qaeda I'd send twenty terrorist martyrs infected with smallpox or pneumonic plague to crisscross the country on as many domestic flights as possible." Brzezinski writes that "75 million people could be infected" within a month's time from the suicide infectors.

At the heart of Brzezinski's solid reporting and evenhanded summaries is this question: How much disruption will the American people tolerate as its government tries to find "the balance between security and liberty"?

Udržet loutku živou a vytvářet neustále dojem její inteligence dá zabrat.

There is no such thing, at this date in the world’s history, in America, as an independent press. You know it and I know it.

There is not one of you who dares to write your honest opinions, and if you did, you know beforehand that it would never appear in print.

I am paid weekly for keeping my honest opinion out of the paper I am connected with. Others of you are paid similar salaries for similar things, and any of you who would be so foolish as to write honest opinions would be out on the street looking for another job.

If I allowed my honest opinion to appear in one issue of my paper, before twenty-four hours my occupation would be gone.

You know it and I know it.

And what folly is this - toasting an independent press? We are the tools and vassals of rich men behind the scenes.

We are the jumping jacks, they pull the strings and we dance.

Our talents, our possibilities and our lives are all the property of other men.

    We are intellectual prostitutes.”

Syria, at UN, Says Israel Behind U.S. War on Iraq

    Mon Sep 27, 2004 12:17 PM ET

    http://news.reuters.com/newsArticle.jhtml?type=worldNews&storyID=6344049

    By Irwin Arieff

UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) - Syria on Monday accused Israel of inciting the United States to invade Iraq to distract attention from its own actions in the region, where it retains its grip on the Palestinian territories won in a 1967 war.

Syrian Foreign Minister Farouq al-Shara used his country's annual address to the U.N. General Assembly opening debate to deliver a fierce critique of Israeli policy, as the Jewish state accused Damascus of "directing terrorism" and threatened preemptive strikes against militants on its territory.

Shara accused Israel of refusing to comply with 40 Security Council resolutions and hundreds of General Assembly resolutions demanding that Israel withdraw from the Palestinian territories as a step toward a Middle East peace. Washington had used Baghdad's noncompliance with U.N. resolutions as one of its rationales for the March 2003 invasion of Iraq.

Instead, Shara said, Israel had built up a nuclear arsenal, expanded Jewish settlements on Palestinian lands, built a "racist segregation wall," which Israel says is intended to keep out suicide bombers, transformed its army into "armed gangs bent on systematic killings and war crimes" and shunned the peace process, "despite the hand extended in peace by the Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese."

Hours before Shara spoke, Israeli Deputy Defense Minister Zeev Boim called Syria "a central junction in regional terrorism" and accused Syrian President Bashar al-Assad of being involved in it "as a traffic officer."

Syria had earlier accused Israel of terrorism after a Palestinian Hamas militant died in a car bombing on Sunday in Damascus.

The United Nations had been of little help in resolving the Arab-Israeli conflict, which was as old as the world body itself, Shara said.

Despite the adoption of over 600 resolutions on the subject, Israel "did not implement a single one of them, and continues to find protection inside and outside the United Nations," he said.

"We are convinced that success in this endeavor will remain elusive unless these resolutions are implemented and peace is restored in accordance with the aspirations of the people of the region and the world," he said.

Israel says it will consider everything to stop Iran from

    http://www.fox23news.com/news/world/story.aspx?content_id=0A155CF8-5B65-42E2-8FD2-F86CE887B828

JERUSALEM (AP) - Israel's defense minister says his government will consider "every option" to stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons.

He also tells an Israeli newspaper the country must be prepared to deal with what he called the Iranian "threat."

Iran announced last week that it has started converting raw uranium into the gas needed for enrichment, an important step in making a nuclear bomb. It did that in defiance of a demand by the U-N nuclear watchdog agency for Iran to freeze all uranium enrichment.

Israel considers Iran its most dangerous enemy and worries that Iran's nuclear weapons program is intended as a threat against it.

Prime Minister Sharon says Israel is "taking measure to defend itself."

/////////// So, Israel attacks Iran, Russia comes in on Iran's side and Israel relies on the United States to protect it.
