He's gone on over the years to say over and over again with a particular type of galling dismissive ridicule that there really is nothing to the whole aliens subject. And I think one of the most common ones is where he's he he talks about the possibilities that the government could conceal something like this.
"Do you think the government is that competent that they can actually keep such a secret? Oh my gosh, when did you get that much confidence in the US government? Here's what I rather think that if we had an alien invasion more than the US government would know about it, we would know about it. We with cameras and smartphones. We are crowdsourcing an alien invasion of Earth because everybody has a camera."
The simple fact is Neil deGrasse Tyson, if you had bothered to look in the last 10 to 20 to 30 years, you would have seen a preponderance of evidence from many first-hand witnesses who were describing what you say, and you chose to ignore it. And I think
there does need to be a reckoning one day for those in establishment science, the Menzels, uh the Neil deGrasse Tysons, the people the pompous people from establishment science who don't so dismissively ruled out the possibility that there was a there there. There is a reckoning coming, and people like Neil deGrasse Tyson, sadly, are being confronted with a new reality.
