Mars' Mysterious Dark Streaks Spur Exploration Debate
    http://www.space.com/30618-mars-water-streaks-rsl-mystery.html

The dark, fingerlike features that creep down steep Martian slopes in warm weather continue to puzzle scientists.

These "recurring slope lineae" (RSL), which have been spotted by NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO) at low and middle latitudes on the Red Planet, fade during cooler months but come back again annually at nearly the same locations over multiple Martian years.

Scientists continue to debate the true nature of the RSL phenomenon; no guess as to what they are and why they occur yet satisfies all observations. And just how RSL sites should be explored generates spirited debate, as evidenced by the discussions that emerged during the second Mars 2020 Landing Site Workshop, which was held last month in Monrovia, California.

Curiosity update, sols 1073-1107: Driving toward dunes, distracted by haloes | The Planetary Society
    http://www.planetary.org/blogs/emily-lakdawalla/2015/09181704-curiosity-update-sols-1073-1107.html

The damage to the wheels has changed only slightly since sol 708.

Haloes in the Stimson unit, Curiosity sols 1083-1094 - As Curiosity drove across the Stimson unit, the rover repeatedly encountered fractures in the rock that were surrounded by bright haloes of unknown cause. The photos were taken on sol 1083 (top left), 1087 (top right), 1093 (lower left), and 1094) lower right) by the Navcam.

Nikdo v ESA nad Philae neláme a nezlomil hůl!
Pak už to bude horší: bude ubývat sluníčka i teploty.
Navíc aby mohly R-P komunikovat, musí obsluha Rosetty aktivovat jeden přídavný elektrický systém, a navíc jej nastavit do "vyhledávacího" režimu.
Fakt to není jednoduché...

Comet surface changes before Rosetta’s eyes | Rosetta - ESA's comet chaser
    http://blogs.esa.int/rosetta/2015/09/18/comet-surface-changes-before-rosettas-eyes/

Since arriving at Comet 67P/C-G in August 2014, Rosetta has been witnessing an increase in the activity of the comet, warmed by the ever-closer Sun. A general increase in the outflow of gas and dust has been punctuated by the emergence of jets and dramatic rapid outbursts in the weeks around perihelion, the closest point to the Sun on the comet’s orbit, which occurred on 13 August 2015.

But in June 2015, just two months before perihelion, Rosetta scientists started noticing important changes on the surface of the nucleus itself. These very significant alterations have been seen in Imhotep, a region containing smooth terrains covered by fine-grained material as well as large boulders, located on 67P/C-G’s large lobe.

"We did not expect to find hints of a nitrogen-based glacial cycle on Pluto operating in the frigid conditions of the outer solar system,” said Alan Howard, a member of the mission’s Geology, Geophysics and Imaging team from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville. “Driven by dim sunlight, this would be directly comparable to the hydrological cycle that feeds ice caps on Earth, where water is evaporated from the oceans, falls as snow, and returns to the seas through glacial flow.”

“Pluto is surprisingly Earth-like in this regard,” added Stern, “and no one predicted it.”
