Nah, you know, imagine that before you are born, you are asked what life you want to live, you've got like 10 points and you need to add them into parts of your new world, more points, the more deeper you can dive. So you make your choices and start the show.
After some time you realize you've made some poor choices back then and added wrong points to wrong places. You realize nothing is making any sense as the world seems to lack very important parts.
By some miracle, you've gotten a second chance. You go back to change the settings, to tune the points a bit better. You spend like thousand years there, tunning those 10 points to perfection, and after that you are ready to start the show again, this time, without flaw.
It looks better now. Beings, things and feelings. People upgraded, flesh itself no longer necessary, world looks like pure energy and feelings are as real as anything else.
But you cant help but to see something old in all of this. Planet is different, year is different, you are different, yet all things together, they all make the same sum as before. Those 10 points, they were nothing but shapes of outside world, of things you can use to build that that makes you yourself.
