If thou listen to syche moanings then the next thynge, they'll be tellynge thou that ye may nat whittle afore the fyreplace when she hath just swept, or that thou maye nat reed bokkes when hyr mother is visiting, or goe fyshing instede of spending tyme with hyr. 'Tis verily a slippery slope.
