    navic se nekdy pred par lety osobne obohatil na nejakych sponzorskych smlouvach, podrzel ho tenkrat Marko, nebyt jeho vyhodil ho Mateschitz uz tenkrát, o to horsi ze se on sam se chtel nedavno Marka zbavit

    jasne mel uspechy, ale lidsky to podle me nebude uplne clovek na urovni, ja jsem rad za Mekiese, to je pravej opak Hornera a drzim RB palce aby jim to sedlo

    VYWERN: on ale mel dost skraloupu, navic se po smrti Mateschitze zacal chovat dost nemozne a soutredil veskerou moc u sebe a kvuli nemu odeslo dost dulezitejch lidi vcetne Neweyho, kdyby to bylo jen na mladym Mateschitzovi a Mintzlaffovi balil kufry uz davno, ale drzeli nad nim ochrannou ruku Thajci... takze bych nerekl ze to bylo ze dne na den, spis se tam drzel zuby nehty uz rok a pul a prislo co prijit muselo, pripadne co melo prijit uz daleko driv

    No po 20 letech, 8 titulech a 6 poharu konstrukteru dostat padaka ze dne na den je fakt ulet. Vubec by mi nevadil jeste odchod Maxe.

    ANDR3E: jako letost je mcl docela jasnej... Ale pristi rok je to dost velka kristalova koule kdyz budou uplne novy auta a jedna z nejvetsich tech zmen za dekady. To muze bejt klidne dominantni williams:)

    Christian Horner has been relieved of his roles of CEO and Team Principal at Red Bull Racing, effective immediately.

    Laurent Mekies, who was Team Principal at sister team Racing Bulls, has become CEO of Red Bull Racing.

    While Alan Permane, who was Racing Bull's Racing Director, is now Racing Bulls' Team Principal.

    As a reminder of Horner's time at Red Bull.

    He joined in January 2005, making him the youngest Team Principal on the grid at the time and set about making a team to win titles.

    Adrian Newey was tempted over from McLaren and at the 2009 Chinese Grand Prix, Red Bull won the first race in their history. Five more would come that year but true success would arrive in 2010.

    With Sebastian Vettel at the wheel, Red Bull went on to win four consecutive Drivers' and Constructors' Championships and solidified the team as more than just a PR exercise.

    2014 and the introduction of hybrid power units brought its difficulties as Mercedes became the dominant force but a milestone was achieved when Red Bull became the work outfit of Honda.

    With the Japanese supplier on board, Red Bull moved back to the top when Max Verstappen won the 2021 Drivers' World Championship, pipping Lewis Hamilton in the final race.

    From there, Red Bull grabbed hold of both titles and refused to let go. Their finest achievement was the 2023 season when the team won 21 of 22 races.

    But 2024 brought increased competition, in particular from McLaren who would go on to win the Constructors' title.

    That brings us to 2025 which has been one of the most difficult for Horner to date and with the team well off the pace in both Championships, Horner has paid the price.

    Martin Brundle appeared on Sky Sports News shortly after the news broke, here's what he had to say:



    “It’s completely out of the blue, given things that are going on and the sort of problems in the team, words were getting out of team Verstappen and others.



    “I’m quite sad about it, if I’m honest. I consider Christian a friend, and he’s done an incredible job there for 20 years. Won an awful lot of races and World Championships for drivers and for the team, and even he took it from what was the Stewart team through Jaguar, and it was struggling, to a massive campus in Milton Keynes, and an awful lot of success and a huge trophy cabinet."

    The decision was made yesterday, Horner gave a final address to staff this morning, two other senior staff members gone with him and staff told to be silent on it all


    Max Verstappen tops that list having driven 198 times for Horner's Red Bull.
