EA Sports has announced the top 10-rated players in FIFA 19, and Lionel Messi has the same overall rating as Cristiano Ronaldo - a first for the series.

Both players have dominated the FIFA series, as you'd expect, with both occupying the player ratings top spot at various points. But never before have both had the same overall rating.

This year both Messi and Ronaldo, considered by many to be the two best footballers to ever play the game, are rated 94. In FIFA 18, Messi was rated 93, one point behind Ronaldo.

FIFA has prided itself on mirroring football culture, so at this year's Gamescom, I took the chance to ask the team whether they had any plans to introduce Fortnite dances to FIFA 19. When I spoke to FIFA creative director Matt Prior about the possibility of adding Fortnite celebrations to the game, he had the following to say:

"We pride ourselves on authenticity so if it's something you see in the real world, if a player - Griezmann, Dele Alli, those guys generally tend to do that - if it's something they do, then it's something we would potentially look to emulate. At the end of the day, if you watch a game and you see something in the real world game, we want that reflected in our own title. So there is potential."

Opravdu prebirate herni info od seznamu? :D Jedinne co je v tom clanku pravda, je to ze tam bude Sparta, to je potvrzene. Plzen je vicemene take potvrzena. Zbytek jsoubohapuste spekulace na zaklade licence UEFA. Jenze ta se tyka prezentace soutezi a nikoliv klubu. Ty si EA musi dojednat samostatne. Takze si troufnu tvrdit ze na 90% ve FIFA nebude Jablonec, ani Sigma. Slavia je otazka, ale je v PES a na dotaz jednoho fanouska mu byl potvrzen jen PES. Samozrejme bych se rad mylil ale tak ruzove, jak to popisuje clanek, to neni.

FIFA 19 will have the Chinese league, according to online reports.

Confirmation comes from a tweet that shows the Chinese Super League in FIFA 19 during a PlayStation presentation at the recent 2018 Animation-Comic-Game Hong Kong event.

The addition of the Chinese Super League means a number of superstar footballers who play in China will be in FIFA 19, including Brazilians Paulinho (ex-Barcelona), Hulk (ex-Porto), Oscar and Ramires (both ex-Chelsea). Belgian winger Yannick Carrasco (ex-Atletico Madrid) also plays in China, as does ex-Southampton striker Graziano Pellè.

EA Sports has yet to announce the inclusion of the Chinese Super League, but this looks like a sure bet. The game comes out 28th September, so an announcement is surely not far off.

More interesting is the survival mode. Here, when you score a goal, one of your players (chosen at random) leaves the pitch. The game continues in that fashion - when you score you lose a player and so on. What's cool about it is scoring makes the game harder for you, so there's a strategy to proceedings. Do you want to score early, or late on?

Survival mode isn't quite FIFA 19's take on battle royale, because you can't get to a last player standing situation. Survival mode adheres to the rules of real life football in that the match is abandoned if either team has fewer than seven players. So, to win automatically - that is, before the 90 minutes is up - you need to score five goals, and thus see five of your players leave the game.

One of the more useful additions to kick-off for FIFA 19 is stat tracking. Now, you can tie your progression in kick-off mode to a new kick-off name you create when you start the game. (If you tie this kick-off name to PSN or Xbox Live, it'll whizz up to the cloud, and you can pull it down on your friend's console when you play them in kick-off mode).

With stat progression, you can keep track of your record against specific couch co-op rivals (no need to etch the score in the wall anymore). The game will also track loads of stats, such as goals scored, where your goals were scored and even in which part of the goal they went in. There's a lot of information to dig into, and it will be pretty cool to see your FIFA play dissected.

FIFA 19's Ultimate Team has a brand new mode called Division Rivals.

Division Rivals replaces FUT's online seasons mode, and is designed to appeal to a mid-tier level of player, below the hardcore-focused FUT Champions mode and above the casual-focused Squad Battles mode.

Here's how it works: you play a number of placement matches which are used to determine your skill rating. You're then placed into one of 10 divisions, with progression tied to your skill rating (the mode will show you how far away you are from a promotion in terms of skill rating).

Režim s obrovským potenciálem, nicméně naprosto nezvládnutej ze strany EA. A to že se ho poslední léta snažej dostat na kompetitivní e-sporty scénu, mě přijde jako největší fail...

No, tak sem si zas po roce připomněl, proč sem se zařek, že už si nikdy v životě Fifu nekoupim. Cca 70 matchů ve FUT(40-10-20), průměrný hodnocení týmu 75, všechno jak má být, hráči nabíhaj jak maj(až se sám divím), nemám problém podržet míč, nahrát, otočit se s balónem... Teď v divizi 3, průměrný hodnocení týmu 81, hráči stojej a čuměj, pokrytí balónu a natočení hráče směrem kam chci přihrát trvá asi šest sekund, když chci uklidit balon do prázdný brány, musím si dávat sakra pozor, aby byl hráč čelem k bráně, měl míč na noze a nastřílel z první, jinak to prostě netrefí ani z půl metru, atd... To mě tak strašně sere a mrzí, že se tyhle EAids ve hře dějou. Překonat se to dá tím, že člověk prostě začne hrát jiným stylem, ale je to hrozná nuda a sere mě, že mě k tomu ta hra nutí...
