OLTSKUL: a hele, vyjadreni nvidie
I wanted to share our perspective about the ‘Ashes of Singularity’ benchmark you are currently testing.
We have discovered a few issues with the benchmark we want to make you aware of.
· Ashes of Singularity has an application-side bug for MSAA running the DX12 executable on GeForce GPUs. Note that MSAA is enabled by default when you select the ‘low’, ‘medium’, ‘high’, and ‘crazy’ presets on the DirectX 12 version. As a result, benchmark runs using these presets are invalid. More information on this issue is being provided by Stardock and Oxide games.
· The Ashes of the Singularity benchmark supports single GPUs only. Performance will not improve on systems with multiple GPUs.
Ashes of the Singularity is an alpha benchmark released by Oxide. It will run a series of pre-selected scenes and will give you a score at the end to show how well your system ran that series of scenes. The game looks intriguing, but this alpha benchmark is primarily useful to understand how your system runs a series of scenes from the alpha version of Ashes of Singularity.
We believe there will be better examples of true DirectX 12 performance.
And we continue to work with Microsoft on their DX12 API, games and benchmarks.
We believe the GeForce architecture and drivers DX12 performance is second to none. When accurate DX12 metrics arrive, the story will be the same as it was for DX11.

Ten udajny bug s DX12 MSAA je zpochybnovan nekolika redakcemi, ale vypada to, ze nekde existuje a nekde ne.
