    Ernest Nuamah broke down in floods of tears during his Fulham medical on the final day of the transfer window.
    He didn’t want to leave Lyon and felt he was being forced out against his will so he fled and vanished before his move could be completed.
    Not even his agent could locate him, meaning the move was abandoned.
    Lyon’s owner John Textor wrote a formal letter of apology to Fulham because of how the transfer broke down.
