The big, action delaying, absurd lie that the 1.5C is still within reach, permeated the discussions. The big economy governments refused to provide the financial assistance to the most vulnerable least developed, as they committed to under the 1992 UN climate change convention, On mitigation nothing, except yet another delaying climate action work plan. There will not be an emissions stock-take till 2023. China refused to acknowledge it is a high emitting country. The CO2 suicide scenario was reinforced.
