This new study, published just a couple of weeks ago, basically examines all of these studies and puts together the bottom line for our present scientific knowledge on Greenland and Antarctic ice loss. 42 independent studies were assessed from many different types of satellites.
Total loss is 11.3 trillion tons
Most is from Greenland.
84% of the loss is from moving ice (dynamical loss) calving into the oceans.
16% of the loss is from the surface.
Science marches onwards, as does accelerating climate change.
