TUHO: * The report repeats several points from the book 'the cold sun' by German ex-politician Fritz Vahrenholt, published in 2012, which promoted the theory that the solar cycle determines the climate of the Earth. The book was characterized by a biased presentation of the literature, where several sources were misquoted. Vahrenholt further concluded with certainty that the temperature up to 2020 and beyond would drop. Haven't Dagsvik and Moen realised that the opposite has happened?

Colleagues in the Climate Advisory Board report that they have been confronted with the arguments presented in a discussion note posted on the website of Statistics Norway. The note caused controversy in the Norwegian media, and researchers from several institutions criticized numerous aspects of the note.
The note does not have the character of a scientific publication, it does not contain a review of prior research in the area and contains a thin, selective, outdated, and biased literature list.
The introductory chapters are off topic, containing statements about climate modelling and atmospheric physics that are mistaken, false, and inappropriate.
Choice of temperature measurements is very selective and represents only 6% of the Earth’s surface.
Not considering any factors influencing temperatures means that well-understood natural variations and known human influences are treated as noise, reducing the sensitivity of the method and making it harder to detect the influence of CO2.
One of the notes authors, John K. Dagsvik, acknowledges that they try to detect global warming examining one measurement station a time. This leads to a low sensitivity of their method and ignores that temperatures are increasing synchronously across stations.
Authors are silent on the detection limit of their method.
Apparently the note is garnering a lot of interest and creating confusion also in other countries. Many readers will benefit from having a basic understanding of climate science and become familiar with some of the standard arguments of climate denial. I have tried to create clarity in two blog posts.

Určitě není náhodné, že jako první si nebezpečí ukrytých v zelené ideologii všiml filozof (a biolog) Stanislav Komárek. Upozornil na kryptonáboženský charakter ekologismu a jeho podobnost s náboženskými válkami a religiozními hnutími.

Zelené fanatiky spojuje s náboženskými blouznivci představa minulého zlatého věku, kdy všechny bytosti žily spolu v harmonii, která pak lidskými hříchy byla zničena. Proto je zapotřebí napnout úsilí, překonat špatnosti a vrátit se zpátky do stavu zelené nevinnosti.

V tomto ohledu se ekologisté téměř neodlišují od radikálních islamistů. Ti také jsou schopni obětovat lidské životy (včetně svých vlastních), aby se vrátili do Zlatého věku Islámu, tedy do dob Prorokových v sedmém století. Na rozdíl od nich se vyznavači zeleného náboženství na datu konce původního Ráje ještě neshodli. Ti umírněnější z nich, reprezentovaní místopředsedou Evropské komise Fransem Timmermansem, by se spokojili s návratem před industriální revoluci. Ti pravověrní (vyskytující se hlavně v Evropském parlamentu) si myslí, že se lidstvo dostalo na scestí již vynálezem zemědělství.

Ona zelená pseudonáboženská ideologie drží v moderních dějinách jeden primát – o lidstvo jí vůbec nejde. Jejich cílem je blaho a budoucnost naší planety. Lidé jsou pro ně v nejlepším případě obtížný hmyz, který Zemi škodí, a jehož neblahé působení je třeba omezit. Logicky by se to dalo nejlépe uskutečnit omezením jeho počtu, ale to je zatím téma divokých konspiračních teorií. Zatím postačí, když se na na nejmenším a nejhustěji osídleném kontinentě (v Evropě) začne v rámci Green Dealu omezovat uhlíková stopa jeho obyvatel. Kýžený výsledek se také časem dostaví.

Právě probíhající válka na Ukrajině dává možnosti, jak přechod do báječného nového světa Velkého resetu Klause Schwaba urychlit. Deindustrializace Evropské unie může začít už letos, a do konce této dekády už v ní nemusí střední třída existovat. Bez toho, že by se válečný konflikt musel rozšířit mimo ukrajinské území. Současné vedení EU (a celý kolektivní Západ) tím ochotně vyplní zadání gryndýlové genocidní ideologie.

Když si to jako občané a voliči necháme líbit.

Gaslighting Europe: Russia's energy disinformation in the Czech Republic

Abstract
This study explores the narratives surrounding energy security, the Russia-Ukraine war, and natural gas, as conveyed by Russia's state-owned news outlet, Sputnik. We delve into how these narratives are reflected in the Czech Republic's disinformation media—a nation notably susceptible to Russian influence—and how they aid Russia in steering the local conversation to heighten vulnerability to energy manipulation. While a single Czech media outlet directly replicated Sputnik's content, numerous Czech misinformation platforms mirrored its themes, occasionally with their unique twists. Sputnik predominantly underscored Russia's position as a trustworthy gas provider and touched on gas pricing dynamics. The Czech media not only resonated with these themes but also brought in unique narratives, at times even questioning Russia's motives or critiquing U.S. involvement. This indicates that, despite some similarities, Czech misinformation outlets exhibit flexibility and individuality in their reporting. This research sheds light on Russia's energy-focused propaganda, which lays the groundwork for and enhances its potential active deployment of energy assets as instruments of power. As the EU strives to decrease its dependency on Russian gas, Russia continues to be a pivotal global energy stakeholder. Consequently, comprehending Russia's energy strategies is crucial to bolstering resilience against its energy-based influence.
