funky, so you make it a dominant seventh. Or maybe a dominant 9 chord. Or maybe 7#9. Or maybe m7. Or maybe...well that's pretty much your options.
And you think, "that chord sounds pretty good. Let's use it again." So for the second chord, it's the same as the first chord. And then you're like, "wow, that's working, why change it?"
