The Kalyon Karapınar solar park in Turkey (often cited as Europe's largest) has a peak capacity of 1.35 GW (with a 1 GW grid connection). However, it is located in the Asian part of Turkey (Konya province, Asia Minor), so it is not in geographical Europe. Turkey's European portion is limited, and this facility is not there. It is expanding toward 1.85 GW with an additional phase.
In geographical/EU Europe, the largest operational solar farm is the Witznitz Energy Park in eastern Germany, at ~605–650 MW (commissioned around 2024, on a former mining site).
Other notable large ones include Francisco Pizarro in Spain (~590–600 MW) and various clusters or portfolios, but no single site exceeds 1 GW.
1 GW solarne parky mi nedavaju moc zmysel, lepsie je mat mensie distribuovane elektrarne rozprestrene na vacsej rozlohe, je to odolnejsie voci vsetkym predstavitelnym rizikam nez jeden centralny velky zdroj
