About the image Wells felt indignant that the same publication that sat on his picture for five months without publishing it, while people were dying, entered it into a competition. He was embarrassed to win as he never entered the competition himself, and was against winning prizes with pictures of people starving to death.

This “piece” of driftwood washed up on the beach at La Push, a small community in Clallam County, Washington. On our visit there in early spring, a very strong gale was blowing. Powerful winds accompanied by high tides are required to bring monsters like this ashore. The entire length of the beach was strewn with driftwood of all sizes. La Push, surrounded by the lush forest of the Olympic National Park, is located on the northwest coast of Washington’s most westerly peninsula, at the mouth of the Quillayute River. La Push is the home of the Quileute Tribe.

pointu bohužel netušim, poslal kamarád přes ICQ a ať koukám jak koukám, tak tam koleje nikde nevidim, takže když někdo vygůglí nějaký info budu nejen já rád :)

Jediný co mě napadá je to, že na fotce je 7 lokomotiv a bůhví kolik eště za tim, takže asi fakt jely heště hodně dlouho po vykolejení z trati, těžko říct ...

(pokud to ovšem neni nějakej reality hack ;))
