1989 Ferrari 348

Luca Cordero di Montezemolo often tell this story about the 348: “I bought myself a yellow one back in the days and as I was standing at a redlight, a guy with a Golf GTI stopped beside me, revving his engine waiting for green light. We improvised a drag-race and for the first 30/40 metres the Golf was in front. The guy recognized me and said to me “Montezemolo, my Golf is much better!”. The day I became Ferrari president I asked all the engineers to tell me something about the 348 and they covered me with all sorts of data and graphs. I interrupted them saying “I’m sorry gentlemen, I bought this car and it drives like shit: much noise without performance! My friend Niki Lauda drove it and he said I’m right.

1991 Cizeta Moroder V16T

The Cizeta-Moroder name comes from the founder Claudio Zampolli's initials (C.Z. read as “ci” and “zeta” in Italian) and the partnership with the composer Giorgio Moroder, which provided financial support for the project. The V16T was designed by the legendary Marcello Gandini. The Cizeta’s V16 is the product of a merger between 2 Lamborghini Urraco V8’s. The 64 valves beast will produce 560 hp and propel the Cizeta from 0-100 in around 4.5 seconds.
It is still a striking vehicle by any era's standards, though, and would be amazing to see on the road today.
