JYRKA: Fable 5:
Norway is framed backwards. The article presents Norway as the counter-example that publishes. Norway is one of the six refusing to release data; what it said was that the Dutch assessment data "is not the same as what Tesla publishes on its website" (insurancejournal) .
The headline. Reuters includes RDW's denial: the agency says it has not withheld information at Tesla's request but makes its own decisions on protecting trade secrets (insurancejournal) . That denial is missing from the Czech piece. Worse, the "manufacturers always have the option to request an exemption" line is quoted as RDW's answer to Reuters — in the original it's what RDW told Tesla (insurancejournal) in the email thread, which is a different and more damning thing.
"Sama lhala." Reuters' finding is "highly exaggerated" / "inflated" statistics. "Lied" is the editor's word, not a documented finding.
The Germany–France–Italy "veto bloc" is largely the author's construction. Reuters names only France (speeding plus inadequate driver monitoring) and Finland's mixed assessment. Germany's ministry said in July that KBA was still evaluating the RDW dossier and expected a Tesla test vehicle — evaluating, not objecting.
Italy has reportedly applied to recognise the Dutch approval, which is the opposite of doubt.
Sweden's speeding objection isn't in the Reuters piece. Also, in comitology a "no opinion" outcome doesn't automatically equal a veto, so that framing is loose.
