Today's email is a little different from the previous ones. No snippets, no #BloomerArmada, no videos... just a HUGE warning!
And it comes with perfect timing.
Yesterday, WooCommerce 3.0 was released (read all the official dev notes here). It's been almost 24 hours, and I really hope you haven't clicked that "Update Automatically" button yet.
--> If you did it already, I'm 99% sure something in your site is now broken. Immediately "downgrade" your WooCommerce by removing the plugin entirely and download and upload the older (2.6) version. Then, read below.
--> If you didn't do it yet, great - wait a little longer! Your theme and plugin developers need to see if everything is compatible with Woo 3.0 first... and very likely they will release an update in the next few days. Or at least, TEST the new Woo 3.0 on a dev/clone/staging install, so that your live site is not affected by this huge change.
Also, they completely remodeled the product gallery (better UX), improved the performance/speed, and released other edits - you can find out more via the official link above.
It's almost guaranteed you'll see a WooCommerce 3.0.1 very soon (note that last ".1"), to fix the first reported bugs. So, follow my suggestion and WAIT until 3.0.1 or 3.0.2 even, so at least the major bugs would have been fixed by then.
Finally, if you test Woo 3.0 and you notice any of my snippets aren't working anymore - let me know (I'm not able to retest them all, so your feedback is very welcome).
