Jednalo se, zkrátka, o koordinovaný útok přesně toho druhu, jaký před nedávnem spustilo Bělorusko proti Polsku. Polsko tehdy o pomoc požádalo a oprávněně ji také dostalo. Španělsko tentokrát o nic nepožádalo a přesto bylo potrestáno. Ze všech lidí zrovna polský premiér Donald Tusk vyzval k jeho izolaci. Dánsko, aby nezůstalo pozadu, reagovalo na útok na Španělsko tím, že mu netrpělivě nařídilo přijmout „nezbytná opatření“ – jako někdo, kdo sleduje, jak hoří sousední dům, a stěžuje si na kouř. Tato reakce vyvolává otázku: až začnou hybridní útoky na Grónsko, což se jistě stane, oplatí Španělsko tuto „laskavost“? Bude Madrid požadovat, aby Kodaň přijala „nezbytná opatření“? Ukazuje se, že Evropa konečně dosáhla společné zahraniční politiky: každý sám za sebe.
