    SHEFIK: ah, svetle zitrky :)

It's not going to move particularly quickly; a final investment decision isn't expected until sometime after 2028.

World's biggest green hydrogen hub announced for Western Australia
    https://newatlas.com/energy/western-green-energy-hub/

Western Australia could soon be home to the world's biggest green hydrogen project. The Western Green Energy Hub (WGEH) wants to deploy 50 GW of solar and wind generation to produce up to 3.5 million tons of green hydrogen or 20 million tons of ammonia a year.

According to the IEA, 76% of hydrogen comes from gas and 23% from coal – the latter mostly in China – with just 2% coming from electrolysis. Less than 0.7% of current hydrogen production is from low-carbon green or blue supplies.

"Industry has been promoting hydrogen as a reliable, next-generation fuel to power cars, heat homes and generate electricity. It may, in fact, be worse for the climate than previously thought."

"...they found that the greenhouse gas footprint of blue hydrogen was more than 20 percent greater than burning natural gas or coal for heat..."

The largest of these fires has exceeded 1.5 million hectares in size, the Greenpeace environmental group's forestry head Alexey Yaroshenko told The Moscow Times.

“This fire has to grow by about 400,000 hectares to become the biggest in documented history,” Yaroshenko said. “It is impossible to contain this fire through human efforts. ... Firefighters would have to put out a line of fire 2,000 kilometers long.”

Středomoří dál sužují vysoké teploty a požáry.

Dlouhodobě pak stagnuje objem elektřiny produkované z uhlí a ropy. Význam plynu a obnovitelných zdrojů naopak roste.

IEA: Celosvětové emise skleníkových plynů z fosilních paliv v roce 2019 mírně poklesly
    https://oenergetice.cz/emise-co2/iea-celosvetove-emise-sklenikovych-plynu-fosilnich-paliv-roce-2019-mirne-poklesly

Looking further back to SPMs from earlier IPCC assessment reports, it is interesting to see how the language around human influence has evolved:
First assessment report (1990): By increasing their concentrations, and by adding new greenhouse gases like chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs), humankind is capable of raising the global-average annual-mean surface-air temperature.”
Second assessment report (1995): “The balance of evidence suggests a discernible human influence on global climate.”
Third assessment report (2001): “Most of the observed warming over the last 50 years is likely to have been due to the increase in greenhouse gas concentrations.”
Fourth assessment report (2007): “Most of the observed increase in global average temperatures since the mid-20th century is very likely due to the observed increase in anthropogenic greenhouse gas concentrations.”
Fifth assessment report (2013): “It is extremely likely that human influence has been the dominant cause of the observed warming since the mid-20th century.”
Sixth assessment report (2021): “It is unequivocal that human influence has warmed the atmosphere, ocean and land.”

At least 21 people died as heavy downpours struck central China’s Hubei province, authorities said today, weeks after record floods wreaked havoc and killed hundreds in a neighbouring province.
China has been battered by unprecedented rains in recent months, extreme weather that experts say is increasingly common due to global warming.
In Hubei, torrential rains caused power cuts and landslides, destroying hundreds of homes and forcing the evacuation of nearly 6,000 people, the province’s Emergency Management Bureau said on Friday, as reservoirs reach dangerous levels.
