Ve světle výše zmíněných krizí se staly private jets terčem vládních politik. Objevují se i hlasy volající po jejich úplném zákazu. Takovou debatu lze nyní sledovat ve Francii – s přesahem do evropské politiky.

2003 disaster heat in Europe that killed 70,000 is a level of extreme we now have to accept. By 2035 the extreme heat of 2022 will be the new normal - analyses of UK Met Office shows, and presented by @ClimateCrisisAG

Record-breaking heat wave in Europe will be the norm by 2035, analysis shows
    https://edition.cnn.com/2022/08/25/europe/record-heat-climate-analysis-summer-2035-intl-scli/index.html

The record-breaking heat wave that swept across Europe this year will become the "average" summer by 2035, even if all countries reduce their greenhouse gas emissions by as much as they have pledged to, according to an analysis published Thursday.

, the analysis found that an average summer in central Europe by 2100 would be more than 4 degrees Celsius (7.2 degrees Fahrenheit) hotter than it was in the pre-industrial era. Scientists now say that all heat waves bear the fingerprints of human-induced climate change, caused primarily by burning fossil fuels.

"This data doesn't fully account for the instability of the Arctic, which we now know is a global tipping point which that could have major cascading consequences for the entire planet

BBC admits ‘we get climate change coverage wrong too often’ | Climate science scepticism and denial | The Guardian
    https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2018/sep/07/bbc-we-get-climate-change-coverage-wrong-too-often

The BBC has accepted it gets coverage of climate change “wrong too often” and told staff: “You do not need a ‘denier’ to balance the debate.”

In a briefing note sent to all staff warning them to be aware of false balance, the corporation has offered a training course on how to report on global warming. The move follows a series of apologies and censures for failing to challenge climate sceptics during interviews, including Nigel Lawson
