    A nejde o to, že na to nemáme dostatečné technologie, ty by na řešení použít šly, ale chybí nám vůle a představivost je využít. Zůstáváme při zemi, přemýšlíme až moc rezervovaně. Technologický pokrok to sám o sobě nevyřeší. Problém jsme my, ne technologické nástroje.

    Rostouci hladiny oceanu, zmena atmosferickeho proudeni, zmeny v distribuci srazek a sucha. Zmeny karbonoveho, fosforoveho a dusikoveho cyklu, okyselovani oceanu. Jake jsou bezpecnostni rizika a jake potencialni klady dramatickych zmen fungovani zemskeho systemu?
    Ale take jak funguji masove dezinformacni kampane ropneho prumyslu a boj o verejne mineni na prahu noveho klimatickeho rezimu post-holocenu.

    TADEAS: nepatri to spise do desinformaci? "motory s nulovymi emisemi" .. i kdybych primhouril oci a predstavil si, ze tim mysli emise evidovene na STK, mozna tim mysli emise sklednikovych plnu, no kazdopedne vyrobce Omega 1 tyto "temer neexistujici" emise definuje jako "skodlive". Co je skodlive a pro koho, pro co?

    TADEAS: dobře, ale "zdanit" v tomhle případě znamená prostě jen zabrat si část těch New Yorků pro sebe (a kdo by v tom chtěl bydlet? viděl jsem to v Číně...). Neznamená to "zařid'te, aby se to nestalo".

    V případě, že se bavíme o tom boji s negativními externalitami, tak celá stará rétorika točící se kolem daní, dotací, apod. ztrácí smysl. To řeší nějaké sociální otázky, typu kdo dostane kolik místností v rámci té celé zastavěné plochy. Ale neřeší to debatu ohledně toho, že nás neosobní ekonomické mechanismy (myslím, že to je to, čemu stará levice říkala obecně "kapitál") vláčí směrem, kterým možná ani jít nechceme.
