Z čeho se bioplyn v ČR vyrábí?

K výrobě bioplynu se v Česku nejčastěji používají kejda skotu a prasat a hnůj (46 %). Kontroverzní kukuřice se využívá ve formě (kukuřičné) siláže a představuje zhruba 31 % všech vstupních surovin. Zbylých 26 % tvoří senáž, bioodpady, obilí, brambory a další. [7] „Úloha kukuřice jako vstupního substrátu pro bioplynky postupně klesá. Ať už kvůli jejímu zdražování, riziku neúrody nebo potřebě chránit půdu proti erozi. Naopak roste význam biologicky rozložitelných odpadů,” popisuje Jan Habart.
