As Fernández experienced in her village, silvopasture systems deliver key ecosystem services. “Livestock reduce the risk of forest fires, eliminating [the] biomass of bushes and lichens from the ground,” says María Rosa Mosquera-Losada, president of the European Agroforestry Federation (EURAF), who’s in charge of the Department of Crop Production at the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC). “Silvopasture systems also provide an important carbon sink service: shepherding increases soil sequestration” of carbon, she says.

DZODZO: to může být horší, ono to,že je komplikované postavit robotizovanou výrobní jednotku na masově vyráběná auta, je celkem pochopitelné... ale pokud u těch baterií bude problém třeba v tom, že z 10ti prototypů dosáhne požadovaných parametrů jen jeden.. nebo to, že prostě trik není v žádné patentově chráněné 3D struktuře elektrod, což právě může být nějaký scam nad rámec víceméně normální funkční baterie... tedy, že umí udělat víceméně normální baterii, ale že ten patent, co na něm zřejmě chtěj rejžovat, je možná nesmysl :-)

DZODZO: což by opět nasvědčovalo tomu, že jde prostě o LTO články. známý princip, jedinou nevýhodou je nižší energetická hustota (lepší, než olovo, ale asi někde na úrovni NiCD)

Jižní Evropu čeká v nadcházejících dnech vlna extrémních veder. Teploty se budou šplhat až k 50 stupňům Celsia, píše server týdeníku Focus s odvoláním na německou meteorologickou službu (DWD). Doslova brutální vedra zasáhnou celou jižní Itálii, především Sicílii a Sardinii, Řecko, Albánii, Makedonii, Bulharsko, Rumunsko a Turecko.

PETER_PAN: he3da ale nehra na energeticku hustotu ale na bezpecnost, tie ich baterky je nemozne zapalit alebo prinutit k explozi

TUHO: Hm, tak ted to tam najit nemuzu, mozna si to pletu s jinym vyzkumem nebo si to blbe pamatuju... Nicmene je tam silna podpora pro investice do energeticky tranzice a zastaveni podpory fosilnich zdroju.

The latest Special Eurobarometer by Kantar for the European Commission finds that more than nine in ten (93%) European Union citizens think that climate change is a serious problem and almost eight in ten (79%) think climate change is a very serious problem, an increase of five points since 2017.

It further found that:
60% of respondents think climate change is one of the most serious problems facing the world. This is an increase of 17 points since 2017, and climate change has overtaken international terrorism (54%) as the second most serious problem after poverty, hunger and lack of drinking water (71%)
A majority of respondents in 19 countries think climate change is one of the most serious problems facing the world today. In all but one country, respondents are now more likely to think this way than they were in 2017
Personal action on climate change has increased in every country, with 60% of respondents saying they have personally taken action to fight climate change in the past six months (+11 vs 2017).

GOJATLA: Neco takovyho u klima zmeny sleduje Eurobarometer. Baterie otazek jsou i konzistentni napric statama. I tam jsou pro mnohy vysledky prekvapivy. Asi nikym nevolema aktivisticka skupina hlasitych klimaskeptiku tu vetsinu prerve .]]

DGs CLIMA and ENER have published new Eurobarometer surveys showing strong public support for EU climate and energy policies. The surveys asked citizens from all EU Member States a variety of questions on current climate and energy policies and their wishes for future European action. Results were extremely encouraging with positive trends for citizens’ awareness of climate change, their desire for the EU and Member States to act, and willingness to take personal action to fight climate change. They also support prioritising an EU energy sector which is cleaner, more secure and more affordable. These surveys will be invaluable in shaping our climate and energy policies over the next five years. TUHO: No jo, mohlo by to fungovat jako průzkum trhu. Opakovat stejné otázky každý rok. Jenže ty otázky jsou hrozně vágní, na většinu bych odpověděl něco jako "Ano, za těchto podmínek, jinak ne...", tak to je pak těžký.
