    “A lot of the scientists they interviewed, on very specific questions, gave correct answers,” Bunce said. But the framing around the scientists’ quotes led to a mistaken impression far from what their research showed. “It’s the interpretation that I’m sure a lot of the scientists would not agree with,” said Bunce.

    Je príčinou klimatickej zmeny a globálneho otepľovania vysušovanie krajiny?

    V súvislosti s príčinami globálneho otepľovania a klimatickej zmeny sú klimatológovia v posledných rokoch vystavení neutíchajúcemu náporu otázok typu: "Je globálne otepľovanie spôsobené vysušovaním krajiny a odvodňovaním vnútrozemia kontinentov?", prípadne: "Ako je možné, že aj napriek prebiehajúcemu otepľovaniu sa vyššie vrstvy atmosféry ochladzujú?". Často krát sú to práve študenti stredných, prípadne vysokých škôl, ktorí [zdá sa] ešte nevedia celkom posúdiť, ktorá teória je správna a ktorá je, naopak, zjavným nezmyslom.

    Napríklad, pred asi mesiacom sme obdržali ďalšiu podobnú otázku od nemenovaného študenta gymnázia: "Zaujímam sa o problematiku životného prostredia a dostal som sa ku hydrológovi menom Michal Kravčík. Prečítal som si niektoré jeho publikácie a zúčastnil sa niekoľkých prednášok. Zaujímal by ma postoj SHMÚ a váš na jeho interpretáciu. Podľa jeho tvrdení je za súčasným klimatickým stavom odvodňovanie krajiny a znižovanie H2O v atmosfére, to spôsobuje prehrievanie atmosféry, výskyt veľkých horúčav a silných búrok, ako vidíme aj teraz v Európe, v širšom rámci je to jedna z príčin globálneho otepľovania. Môžete mi prosím povedať vaše odborné vyjadrenie k takejto interpretácii?"

    Stanovisko celej odbornej hydrologickej a klimatologickej komunity k problematike príčin klimatickej zmeny je dlhodobo konzistentné s výsledkami medzinárodného výskumu, ktorého hlavné závery sú v pravidelných sedem ročných periódach prehľadne zhrnuté v obsiahlych správach IPCC. Naposledy boli uvedené závery prezentované v piatej správe IPPC [AR5: http://1url.cz/QtJP0] v roku 2013, resp. 2014, pričom podrobnejšie informácie o fyzikálnej podstate príčin a dôsledkov zmeny klímy boli predmetom hodnotenia Pracovnej skupiny I [WGI: http://www.ipcc.ch/report/ar5/wg1/]. Všeobecný vedecký konsenzus o tom, že hlavnou príčinou otepľovania klimatického systému (to znamená, nielen atmosféry Zeme) minimálne od polovice 20. storočia sú antropogenné emisie skleníkových plynov (predovšetkým potom CO2), je v súčasnosti prijímaný nielen inštitúciami ako Svetová meteorologická organizácia [http://1url.cz/FtJPX] a národnými meteorologickými službami, ale aj širšou, teda nielen klimatologickou vedeckou komunitou [Zdroj: http://1url.cz/LtJcF].     Censored: Australian scientists say suppression of environment research is getting worse

    Environmental scientists in Australia say that they are under increasing pressure from their employers to downplay research findings or avoid communicating them at all. More than half of the respondents to an online survey thought that constraints on speaking publicly on issues such as threatened species, urban development, mining, logging and climate change had become worse in recent years1.

    The findings, published this month in Conservation Letters, reflect how politicized debates about environmental policy in Australia have become, says Saul Cunningham, an environmental scientist at the Australian National University in Canberra. “We need our publicly funded institutions to be more vocal in defending the importance of an independent voice based on research,” he says.

    Australian scientists aren’t the only ones who have reported interference in science or pressure — particularly from government employers — to downplay research findings. Scientists in the United States, Canada and Brazil have also reported such intrusions in the past decade.

    Takový vývoj jsme nepředpokládali. Když byl Donald Trump zvolen prezidentem, čekalo se, že půjde ve šlépějích George W. Bushe a Baracka Obamy a pouze dovolí, aby emise, dotace fosilnímu průmyslu a vývoz ropy nadále rostly. Takové rutinní lotrovství už je natolik všudypřítomné a normalizované, že sotva někoho překvapí, když dokonce i demokratická vláda veřejně naříká nad klimatickou změnou, a zároveň dál podporuje rozmach fosilních paliv.

    Rutinní lotrovství ale Trumpovi nestačilo. Jeho republikáni se kvůli svým fosilním mecenášům rozhodli vydat na dráhu superlotrů, a tak nejenže přijali zákony, které podporují nárůst emisí CO2, a do legislativních návrhů na zmírnění dopadů pandemie vecpali finanční injekce fosilním korporacím. Pokusili se navíc změnit pravidla environmentální politiky a dlouhodobě tak svázat ruce klimatickému aktivismu.

    The spiral of climate change is set in motion by the act of identifying, digging up, and setting fire to fossil fuels: this is the axis around which the process revolves. Put differently, the fundamental historical fact of global warming is the commencement of large-scale consumption of those fuels, something truly new under the sun. For most of human history, the deposits were left untouched, safely locked out from the active carbon cycle. Then a qualitatively novel type of economy irrupted into them. We shall call it the “fossil economy,” most simply defined as one of self-sustaining growth predicated on the growing consumption of fossil fuels and therefore generating a sustained growth in CO2 emissions. 20 It is flanked by other processes (notably deforestation) and other greenhouse gases (methane, nitrous oxide, sulfur hexafluoride, etc.), but there can be little doubt about its principal culpability.

    Once the fireplaces were built, they were augmented and reinforced, stone upon stone; no less than the altered atmospheric composition as such, it is this earthly legacy that constrains the present and future. In its latest report, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) warns about “the tendency for past decisions and events to self-reinforce, thereby diminishing and possibly excluding the prospects for alternatives to emerge.” 21 Once a highway or a coal-fired power plant is built, it is meant to last for many decades; there are profits to be reaped from long usage; consumers become accustomed to the convenience; planning, advertisement, trade, subsidies, and investment conspire to lock in the infrastructure and, rather than shelve it, enlarge it further. Alternatives tend to be closed off, the power of the past to grow, emissions to spur emissions. 22

    Richtig ist allerdings, dass die Sonnenleuchtkraft seit Mitte des 20. Jahrhunderts abnimmt. Nur ist dieser Effekt viel zu schwach, um der durch fossile Brennstoffe verursachten Erderwärmung spürbar entgegen zu wirken.     Měla jsem představu mocného průmyslu, který si s politickou reprezentací dělá, co mu za chce. Brzy jsem ovšem pochopila, že mnozí politici podporují ropu z vlastního přesvědčení, protože z těžby plynou obrovské peníze. Někteří se jí dokonce zastávali ještě horlivěji než samy ropné společnosti.
    V jednu chvíli vláda dokonce firmy vybízela, ba je prosila, aby rozšířily těžbu ještě víc na sever, než měly samy v plánu. Ropné firmy se zdráhaly: obávaly se načasování, reakce veřejnosti a zkrátka si nebyly jisté, zda se jim to vyplatí. Vláda na ně ovšem tlačila, že chce další ropovod.
    Politici a zástupci ropného byznysu mají společné cíle, dobře se znají a jsou propojení. Chodí spolu na večeře, potkávají se v letadle, na konferencích. A to samé platí v oblasti výzkumu a vývoje, kam obecně proudí hodně peněz z ropy a plynu. Norsko je zkrátka taková malá ropná vesnice, kde se všichni znají a umí se domluvit.

    A young German YouTuber who has questioned climate science and who has worked with the Heartland Institute. Seibt has recently begun posting about the conspiracy theory QAnon.

    Naomi Seibt is a 19-year-old German YouTube “influencer” who has been described by climate science deniers as the “anti-Greta,” in reference to Swedish environmental activist Greta Thunberg. Thunberg was named Time Magazine's Person of the Year and has become the face for youth climate action. Naomi Seibt joined the Heartland Institute's Arthur B. Robinson Center on Climate and Environmental Policy in February 2020 in order to spread her message. She reportedly chose not to renew her contract with Heartland in April 2020 after facing potential fines from a regional broadcasting authority. [2], [31]
    The Heartland Institute is one of the most notorious climate science denial groups in the United States, and has received funding from ExxonMobil and large conservative foundations. Most of Heartland's income comes though Donors Capital Fund and its sister organization DonorsTrust, two groups that have been described as the “dark money ATM of the conservative movement” for their ability to obscure the identity of donors.     The Heartland Institute introduced Seibt as follows: “Unlike the global legacy media’s favorite young climate communicator, Greta Thunberg, Naomi doesn’t want you to 'panic.' She wants you to 'think' – the way she did to free herself from the climate alarmist indoctrination.” [2]

    Anthony Watts also promoted Seibt as “the antidote to @GretaThunberg” at his blog, Watts Up With That, in December 2019. [4]

    Plyn SF6 sa pouziva v uzavretom systeme (teda vobec sa nesmie dostavat do vonkajsieho prostredia) vo vypinacoch VN a VVN a okrem toho ako izolacne medium ktorym su pripojene kable na stlp (je naplneny v keramickom diele co visi zo stlpa). Nema to nic spolocne s OZE, je to vec rozvodov a nie vyroby elektrickej energie. Ja som jeden z dvoch skolitelov (skolenie robime spolu a kazdy ma jednu cast, ja mam tu environmentalnu) vsetkych ludi co pracuju s SF6 (uklada to zakon) na Slovensku. Nie je pravda, ze plyn sa vymiena az na konci. Kontrola stavu kvality plynu SF6 vo vypinaci sa musi robit pravidelne bud raz za 3 roky, alebo po 20 tisic zopnutiach. Vtedy sa hermetickym systemom odsaje s vypinaca a natlakuje do tlakovej flase. Pouzite SF6 (obsahuje S2F10, ktore je toxicke a SO2F a SOF) likvidujem tak, ze hlavnymi produktami likvidacie je CaSO4 a CaF2.. Som jedina v strednej Europe (mam na to certifikat), co takuto cinnost vykonava uz 17 rokov. Uniky SF6 do ovzdusia za poslednych 10 rokov poklesli a stale klesaju (do novych vypinacov sa instaluju gettre).
