    A nejde o to, že na to nemáme dostatečné technologie, ty by na řešení použít šly, ale chybí nám vůle a představivost je využít. Zůstáváme při zemi, přemýšlíme až moc rezervovaně. Technologický pokrok to sám o sobě nevyřeší. Problém jsme my, ne technologické nástroje.

    Rostouci hladiny oceanu, zmena atmosferickeho proudeni, zmeny v distribuci srazek a sucha. Zmeny karbonoveho, fosforoveho a dusikoveho cyklu, okyselovani oceanu. Jake jsou bezpecnostni rizika a jake potencialni klady dramatickych zmen fungovani zemskeho systemu?
    Ale take jak funguji masove dezinformacni kampane ropneho prumyslu a boj o verejne mineni na prahu noveho klimatickeho rezimu post-holocenu.

    SHEFIK: no to nevim (vagabund). o politologii skoro nic nevim, tak muj model je, ze prezidenti jsou do urcite miry jen figurky. viz aktualni situace - Biden ma rok demenci. Kdo teda vladne? Setrvacnost jeho administrativy, neni to zadny problem, ze prezident nefunguje. Jsou to ty memplexy, atraktory za tim.

    Gorbacov by nemohl rozpustit SSSR, pokud mocensky komplex (armada a pod) by nedosel k zaveru, ze v kapitalismu jim bude lip. Kdyby prevladal nazor, ze socialismus je pro ne vyhodnejsi, Gorbacov by vypadl z okna.

    Stejne tak Trump. Pokud armadne-industrialni komplex dojde k zaveru, ze uz stacilo s pribehem "silne US dela policistu celemu svetu", muze se to rozpadnout. Nevidim ale proc, jaky styl fungovani by pro ne byl vyhodnejsi (SSSR videlo ze v kapitalismu maji nemocnice teplou vodu a obcane barevnou TV).

    Kazdopadne na tech povrchnejsich urovnich (klimaticka politika, rozumne rizeni statu, ...) Trump zmeny udela a z pohledu nasich evropskych budou k horsimu. Ze by ale svetovy poradek urcoval Putin, to se mi taky nezda. Myslim ze to prevezme Cina, zaberou Taiwan a čipy

    Jaky vyznam pro klima ma dominance Ciny, to nevim. Nakonec asi bude nejdulezitejsi, jestli tem armadnim komplexum vyjde jako vyhodna ta treti svetova valka.

    Ok, takže vyhraje Trump. Ví se, zda zastaví ten Bidenuv climate & co. projekt, nebo jaký má přesně program kolem klimatu?

    YMLADRIS: Mnohé z těchto odvětví AI (i když se tomu tak dříve neříkalo) používají už dlouho, ale jo těch pár dobrých využití se dá najít, třeba to skládání proteinů by byl obrovský pokrok. Nicméně je pro to potřeba tvořit obrovské LLM, aby to každý měl v mobilu, zaplavily se tím sociální sítě,.. což není potíž technologie, ale jako v mnoha dalších případech - náš.

    ERGOSUM: Jedná se hlavně o SO2, je ve všech fosilních palivech, také způsobuje (společně s NO2) kyselé deště.
    Pro běžný transport se používá odsiřené palivo (používá se na to 30% světové produkce vodíku), ale např. v lodním průmyslu se stále používá tzv. HFO - heavy fuel oil, lodě na něj plujou a je znatelně levnější.

    Jak už ti tu psali, "Global dimming", já bych opravil, pokud někdo nemá aktuálnější data, že lidskou činností maskujeme v rozsahu 0.5-1.5C, přesné číslo nemáme, pokud se něco po letošních zkušenostech nezměnilo.

    Možná jsi slyšel o rekordních teplotách v Severním atlantickém oceánu, z části se to přičítá regulaci paliva v lodní dopravě, která mimochodem má smysl.

    Zrtrátu tohoto maskování za pomoci fosilních paliv pocítime dříve či později, ale určitě roste diskuze ohledně cloud-seedingu a dalších možnostech jak alespoň krátkodobě oteplení snížit. Otázkou jsou nežádané efekty, enegetická a technologická náročnost, a další, ale cokoliv pro prodloužení BAU, I guess.

    Narazil jsem na článek, podle kterého lze snížit zahřívání planety vyšší odrazivostí mraků.
    Například přidáním prachových částic a aerosolů.

    Pak mě ovšem napadlo, že jestli tomu tak je, může být příčinou oteplování i snížení smogu. A tedy naše snaha o čistčí životní prostředí.

    Budeme tedy kromě snižování CO2 vracet i popílek?

    kdyztak at mi to uz TUHO smaze jako off topic, ale jeste priklad k tomu AI potencialu. je na svete nova stavebnice, geneticka, s potencialem. Kdby se to napojilo na nejake ML, ktere fakt dokaze uvazovat a delat research, tak... (optimalizace managementu nasich ekosystemu and whatnot, rychle).
