No Pants Subway Ride
You’re probably wondering now, “what am I looking at?” Well, what you’re seeing is a photo from the No Pants Subway Ride of New York, an annual, much-anticipated social event, where people ride the subway in their underwear. Why? Because it’s funny, according to the person who started this annual event. The first No Pants Subway Ride started in 2002 by Improv Everywhere’s Charlie Todd.
Since then, the No Pants Subway Ride has gained tremendous popularity, and even breached the boundaries of New York, with over 25 countries involved in this madness. While the first event in 2002 included around 150 members, now hundreds of people participate in what has gone to become one of the largest national pranks. Aside from not wearing pants, the people who participate in this event wear anything they would regularly wear, except for pants, and are perfectly normal people.
